How This Calculation Works
Daraz pays you the order value minus the deductions shown on your account statement. Commission depends on your category. Depending on your market and account, you may also see a payment fee, a fixed handling fee per item and tax withheld at source. This calculator applies each of those to your selling price, then subtracts your product cost and whatever you spend on packaging or delivery, so the number in the net profit card is what should reach your bank account per unit.

Total Daraz fees = (Price × Commission %) + (Price × Payment fee %) + Handling fee + (Price × Tax %)
Net profit = Price − Product cost − Shipping & packaging − Total Daraz fees
Net margin % = Net profit ÷ Price × 100
Break-even price = (Product cost + Shipping + Handling fee) ÷ (1 − (Commission % + Payment fee % + Tax %) ÷ 100)
Price for target margin = (Product cost + Shipping + Handling fee) ÷ (1 − (Commission % + Payment fee % + Tax % + Target margin %) ÷ 100)
Here is a worked example using this page's default numbers. They are examples, not Daraz's published rates. You list a product at Rs 2,500 that costs Rs 1,200 to source and spend Rs 150 on packaging and delivery. Commission at 10% is Rs 250, the 2% payment fee is Rs 50, the handling fee is Rs 20 and 1% withholding tax is Rs 25, so total fees come to Rs 345. Net profit is 2,500 − 1,200 − 150 − 345 = Rs 805, a 32.2% net margin and a 59.6% return on the Rs 1,350 you put in. Break-even is Rs 1,370 ÷ 0.87 = Rs 1,574.71, and holding a 20% margin needs a price of at least Rs 1,370 ÷ 0.67 = Rs 2,044.78.
Platform Fee Breakdown Table
Daraz does not publish its rates on its public pages, so this table lists the deductions that can appear on a statement and where to check each one, instead of guessing percentages.
| Deduction | What it is | Where to check it |
|---|---|---|
| Commission | A percentage of the order. It depends on the product category. | Daraz University in your seller account, under Marketplace Commission Structure |
| Payment fee | May appear for collecting the money from the buyer (card, wallet or cash on delivery). | The statement for a real order |
| Handling fee | A small fixed charge per item in some markets. | The statement for a real order |
| Tax withheld | Income tax or sales tax taken at source. It depends on the country and your tax status. | Your statement, and local tax rules (ask an accountant) |
| DarazMall brands | May carry different terms from regular sellers. | Your seller agreement and Daraz University |
PayoutCalc has not verified any Daraz percentages, so the calculator does not claim any. The numbers in the fields are examples you can overwrite. PayoutCalc is not affiliated with Daraz.
How to Improve Your Daraz Margins
- Confirm the category before you list. Commission follows the category, so a product filed in the wrong one can cost you several percentage points on every order.
- Test campaign prices first. Before joining a payday or 11.11 sale at 10–15% off, enter the discounted price here and make sure it stays above break-even.
- Bundle cheap items. A Rs 20 handling fee is 4% of a Rs 500 order but under 1% of a Rs 2,500 bundle.
- Keep your tax status current. In Pakistan, being on the Active Taxpayers List usually means a lower withholding rate than non-filers pay.
- Budget for failed deliveries. Cash-on-delivery refusals can cost you shipping both ways. Add your average return cost per order to the shipping field.
- Count ads per unit. Divide your monthly sponsored ads spend by orders and add the result to product cost.
